Emma & her new Earbobs

Emma's ears were getting so long that they were soaking wet whenever she got done getting her drink of water...so I was brave and trimmed them for her.

Now she looks totally cuter

Like that was even possible!

The death of yet another Toy

This morning I gave Emma the chicken bone squeaky toy out of the toy basket.

Emma's Bath

I gave Emma a bath on sunday....she doesn't mind it too much, but would really rather cuddle than deal with the hair dryer!!!

So...Every morning, when I get out of the shower, Emma can't wait to get ahold of my towel.

I might be a Blog-Slacker...but Emma definitely isn't!

This could also be titled: The Sleeping Shrimpbutt

So, I'll admit it...I've been a slacker. But Emma just keeps me so caught up and amazed at her awesome cuteness (like right now she's laying beside me snoring!) that I just can't seem to stop long enough to snap a pic & post a blog!

But, at last, here's a funny story from this weekend. It all started out innocently enough. Emma and I were cuddling on the couch, watching some movie on t.v...Dolce' was asleep above us on the back of the couch.

All the sudden Jake does something outside that bothers Dolce', so he jumps down off the back of the couch, landing straight on my belly before he bolts to the door. For those of you who don't know, having an 8 1/2 pound bullet of poodle fury use your 7 months preggo belly as a vaulting board is not pleasant...matter of fact it really hurts! Needless to say, I'm on the couch crying and sweet little Emma is MAD
She ran at Dolce' growling and barking and jumping on his back...then she came back to lay with me and refused to let him back on the couch...she even fell asleep right on the edge defending me!!!

Man I love this dog!!!

This is while I was getting ready for work this morning...staying up late to work on American Idol just took it's toll on the poor little thing!!!

Emma & the Basket of Ignored Toys

...So, Dolce' & Angelica rarely play with any toys, and when they do it's only for a few seconds before they get bored and move on. This is sad because a big basket of toys that has accumulated over the years lays practically untouched in the kitchen.

Emma has found this basket, and is slowly showing love to each of it's inhabitants.

Her current favorite is the squeaky-soccerball-bone-thing, that just happens to be about as big as she is.

She can, has, and will catch this in the middle while playing fetch...and one of those games lasts for hours!!!

Duke Gardens

In the car...Wind in her hair...

Today we went to Duke Gardens...and man was it AMAZING!!! Tulips are in bloom and they are my favs! Emma loved it. She met lots of nice people (especially little people) who were excited to meet her. She was even nice and met some other dogs...except this one dong...who looked kinda like a dingo. Emma went off crazy growling & barking at him....but it was all good. She musta not liked something he said to her.
